Application in Energy Storage Charging PilesIn energy storage charging piles, electronic transformers and inductors are core magnetic components that ensure efficient and safe operation. Power Conversion & Voltage Transformation: Charging piles need to convert grid AC power to the DC power required by batteries. Electronic transformers (typically high-frequency transformers) play a key role in DC-DC converters, enabling voltage step-up/step-down and providing crucial electrical isolation for safety. Filtering & Energy Storage: Inductors, together with capacitors, form LC filters. They are used to smooth the pulsating current generated during conversion, suppress electromagnetic interference, and provide stable, clean DC power to the battery. Inductors can also temporarily store magnetic energy to maintain current continuity. Power Factor Correction: At the AC-DC conversion input stage, PFC inductors are the heart of Power Factor Correction circuits. They shape the input current waveform to align with the voltage, significantly improving the charging pile's power factor. This reduces harmonic pollution to the grid and enhances energy utilization efficiency. |
