Common mode Choke always used in switching circuit for filter interference magnatic signal. It also could filter EMI in PCB layout or restrain electromagnetic wave radiating outward which produced by high speed signal wire.
Actually, common mode choke is a two-way filter. In one side, it could filter common mode magnetic interference in signal wire; in the other side, it need restrain itself do not transmit EMI.
